Ronnie Hobbs
PRESIDENT/CEO
Ronnie Hobbs founded Lone Star Corporation in 2009. Since Lone Star’s inception and continuing through today, Ronnie oversees all of the day-to-day operations of the company. With over 39 years of experience in electrical construction and field services, Ronnie has grown Lone Star Corporation from a small West Texas startup to a regional leader providing a full-range of electrical services to a wide variety of industrial sectors.
Prior to incorporating Lone Star, Ronnie was the founding Vice President of the United States Operations of Pyramid Instrumentation & Electric Corporation-a U.S. Arm of the Canadian based Pyramid Corporation. As Vice President of U.S. Operations, he was directly responsible for all of the U.S. operations and was instrumental in the company’s success. Under his leadership Pyramid grew from its first U.S. employee in 2002 to over 250 employees, 6 branch offices and annual gross revenues exceeding $55MM.
Ronnie began his electrical career in 1979 with Cass Electric, an oilfield electrical contracting company in Andrews, Texas. With more than three decades of experience in the electrical contracting industry throughout the Permian Basin region, Ronnie has served in various roles that include electrical, instrumentation, automation, overhead utilities and distribution of power for the oil and gas, petrochemical and mining industries.

Retiring after a 35-year career in corporate and commercial banking, Mara Hobbs joined Lone Star Corporation in 2020 as Executive Vice President. In this role she provides assistance in all areas of day-to-day management, with a focus on financial and legal operations within the company.
Prior to joining Lone Star, Mara was Advisory Director, Executive Vice President and Commercial Lending Manager for Lone Star State Bank. In this role Mara managed a staff of commercial lenders and supporting personnel responsible for a loan portfolio in excess of $300 million. She continues to be involved with Lone Star State Bank as a founding shareholder. Prior to Lone Star State Bank, Mara worked for several financial institutions in Odessa, Lubbock and Dallas.
Mara has been actively involved in the Odessa community for many years, currently serving as the Board Chairman of the Permian Basin Area Foundation. She continues to remain active with the Odessa Chamber of Commerce and has served in several leadership capacities, including presiding as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Odessa Chamber of Commerce. This involvement led to her serving as the Chairman of the Odessa Community Foundation’s Task Force to manage community donations to the victims of Odessa’s massive shooting in 2019. She has also served as President of Pink The Basin and President of Odessa College Foundation Board of Directors. She continues to serve on the Crystal Ball Foundation Board and is a member of Odessans for Ethical Leadership.

Mara attended the University of Texas at Austin, and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University.

VICE PRESIDENT

Stephanie Stone joined Lone Star Corporation in 2020 as Senior Controller. She is responsible for the company’s financial and treasury functions.

Stephanie’s career spans more than 20 years of varied experience largely consisting of manufacturing and construction accounting. Prior to joining Lone Star she spent 3 years with JW Powerline as their Corporate Controller, including working with their sister powerline company in Virginia and the Ownership group, Energy Services Holdings. Prior to JW, Stephanie worked for 9 years as the Corporate Controller for Hy-Bon Engineering, supervising the accounting functions in Midland, TX and Belpre, OH, as well as working directly with the ownership group, Pfingsten Partners, including preparing and presenting quarterly financials for the Board of Director meetings. Stephanie also spent time in the public accounting sector working on audits and tax preparation of small companies and governmental entities.

Stephanie holds a Master of Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in accountancy from the University of Texas Permian Basin.
Stephanie Stone

CONTROLLER
As Director of Health, Safety and Environmental, Mari Molinar oversees all of Lone Star’s safety operations. She is responsible for compliance to Client requirements and to regulatory agencies such as OSHA, FMCSA/PHMSA, and NFPA. She manages client audits & reviews, accident prevention & investigations, and safety reporting. Mari is responsible for planning, implementing and reviewing safety policies, procedures and programs. She directs a safety team with a focus on building a strong and positive safety culture for all of Lone Star’s employees.
Mari began her safety career as a third-party safety consultant conducting facility inspections and audits in the oil and gas industry. She joined the Lone Star team in 2015 as Field Safety Coordinator and entered the role of Safety Coordinator in 2017.
Mari attended the College of Business with a concentration in Taxation at Texas Tech University. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Occupational Safety and Health with a concentration in oil and gas from Columbia Southern University.

Jimmy Morris
VICE PRESIDENT,
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
As Vice President, Business Development, Jimmy Morris is responsible for creating, driving and directing the overall sales strategy for the entire company; managing multiple client relations, and providing overall leadership to Lone Star Corporation. As an executive team member, Jimmy directs a sales team that focuses on managing and enhancing existing relationships while continuing to seek new opportunities that develop into lasting partnerships.

Jimmy brings over 30 years of experience to Lone Star Corporation, providing significant electrical and mechanical expertise to the oil & gas and petrochemical industry. Prior to joining the executive team of Lone Star Corporation, Jimmy served as a construction manager/business development officer for Edge Manufacturing. He previously was employed by Chesapeake Natural Gas.
Jimmy graduated from Sul Ross State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science.

Israel Ramirez
VICE PRESIDENT,
ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION
Israel Ramirez has been with Lone Star Corporation since 2010, and serves as Vice President of Electrical Construction. Israel was instrumental in the start-up and success of Lone Star Corporation during the company's early years. In his current role, Israel is responsible for, and assists with Lone Star's Electrical Construction department overseeing all capital projects.

With over 22 years of documented success leading strategic projects, he provides a wealth of experience in all phases of the electrical construction. Prior to joining Lone Star Corporation, Israel spent 8 years as the Odessa Area manager for Pyramid Instrumentation & Electric Corporation. Israel began his electrical career at Saulsbury Electric.

Israel attended Electrical Trade School and currently holds Journeyman licenses in Texas, New Mexico, Arkansas, Missouri and Wyoming.

Shay Morris
VICE PRESIDENT,
ANDREWS OPERATIONS

Shay Morris has been with Lone Star Corporation since 2020. He serves as Vice President of Andrews Operations. In Andrews Shay is responsible for the daily operations of Andrews’ Electrical and Powerline departments.
Shay has 33 years of electrical experience, both in oil field electrical and powerline distribution. Prior to joining Lone Star, Shay was with TESSCO for 23 years where he served as Powerline Superintendent for 14 years and Manager of the Andrews division for 6 years.
Landon Hobbs
VICE PRESIDENT,
ODESSA OPERATIONS

Landon Hobbs has been with Lone Star Corporation since 2009. He currently serves as Vice President of Odessa Operations. Landon was instrumental in the startup of Lone Star Corporation as he was the second employee hired and was tasked with rigging up the first 10 trucks and making them work ready from toolboxes, tools, and all safety needs. In his current role, Landon is responsible for coordinating and directing the day-to-day operations of Odessa’s Electrical and Powerline services.
Since Landon started at Lone Star he has been involved throughout the entire day-to-day operations of the whole company. He started at the very bottom as a warehouse hand and has worked through all the departments at Lone Star.
Bob Dawson
VICE PRESIDENT,
AUTOMATION
As Vice President, Automation, Bob Dawson is responsible for the strategic development of the Automation Division, developing new growth opportunities and enhancing performance of our automation services. Comprised of two business units, Lone Star provides automation design services as well as control panel manufacturing to a wide variety of clients. Bob brings over 40 years' experience in advanced oil & gas measurement, production automation design and commissioning.

Prior to joining Lone Star Corporation, Bob was Vice President of Automation Services at Superior Optimization where over a 15-year career he held various roles, including business development and managing various operations. Prior to Superior Optimization, Bob worked as an I/E Specialist for Cantera Resources.

Bob graduated with an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Odessa College.
